Well, just finished reading it and, as Ray says, nothing much new there.
It's pretty even-handed but it still, in the end, seems to come across
as the familiar quirky-reclusive-genius-and-full-supporting-cast. Seems
as if no-one but Richard was really willing to talk much. 

Some nice bits, though: Debbie Harry moaning about being pushed into a
corner so that Tom V. could have lots of space to himself; Deerfrance
talking about Tom V. and Patti Smith, "Tom was infected by her desire
for poetry and art. He never realised that rock'n'roll is not the most
serious of arts, and he's a very serious man". (Discuss!)

Great picture of Richard looking about 14, though, with a stripped,
battered-looking, breadboard-wired Telecaster.
