I think the numbness of last week's events is wearing off - it really hit me last Friday. I'm sure every mailing list on the net is discussing this right now, but some people made some good points on a zinester list: don't stop doing what you enjoy and love because of this tragedy. Many people have been questioning the validity of what they enjoy. Sometimes, trivial things, like debating the overratedness of Yes, ELO, and The Archies takes us away from things and gives us a laugh or two.

We need things like that.

Back to our regularly scheduled Henley & Frey bashing.

I agree with Eric's response. The further away we get from Sept. 11, the sadder
things seem - the initial shock is giving way to much more melancholy.

And now, with the US hastily shifting to a war footing (backing ourselves into a corner, actually), it's going to get much, much more stressful for a lot of
people around the world.
