(TV) Ubu Roi



i saw the reformed Pere Ubu in London just around the time of Tenement Year
and they were superb.David Thomas said that the cover of "Non-alignment
Pact" by That Petrol Emotion and their constant namechecking of the band had
helped reignite interest in their music and even to secure their Polygram
deal at the time.I don't know if he was just being very sweet but if this is
true then i'm dead,dead proud-great band,lovely people...
