Hey the Du are great ! Land Speed Record is almost unlistenable. Good way to
clear a party would be to play that one. But everything afterwards has it's
moments of brilliance. Zen Arcade is great for it's moments of hilarity and
psychedelic experimentation like Recurring Dreams. Candy Apple Grey is
actually my favorite by them though just for it's overarching "down-ness"
.If you are in a particularly ugly mood , it's a great record to listen to.
Misery love company. Celebrated Summer from New Day Rising is <Hyperbole>
pure rock greatness</Hyperbole>. Almost, dare I say, like Mould et al were
listening to some Rush along with their Ramones. Don't Diss the Du I say !
;-)  . Bob Mould in concert is usually pretty rewarding. Hey, didn't he help
invent angst ?
