Sorry to hear of your friend Chris.

Losses like this tend to affect me differently than yourself. I tend to 
immerse myself in music. Either something that had a particular connection 
with the person I've lost or I tend to listen to something really noisy 
which seems to quell my anger somehow.Sorry I know none of this fits in with 
your request for recommendations but I didn't want to ignore your post.
