RE: (TV) RFTT in Austin



David Thomas stopped the show in Chicago, 
too. 

They launched into Sonic Reducer and were 
just ripping through the intro when someone 
threw something on stage (probably the 3rd 
time it had happened that night).  

Thomas stoped the band sharp by swinging his 
arms (like an umpire calling a runner safe). 
The band stopped dead on cue.

Then David Thomas said "If any of you children 
throw anything else on stage we'll leave.  
That's just they way it is."  It was so freaky, 
to hear him scold us and call us "children." 

Then he turned around and started the band up. 
It was like they never stopped playing.  He 
launched into the first verse immediately 

	I don't need anyone 
	Don't need no Mom and Dad . . .

Very weird, but absolutely incredible. The 
combination of Thomas' glaring angry energy with 
the scolding and then that lyric.  

Yikes.
