Which got me to buy Fairport's UNHALFBRICKING earlier this year - and
he and Kent are totally right. Around seven minutes into the song,
the guitar solo COULD NOT sound more like it was lifted from an
alternate take of "Marquee Moon". (Though, as Licht notes, both
Verlaine and Lloyd say they'd never heard the song before).
