Shortly before a Mekons show in the city, there was an article in the Voice
about Cynthia Plaster Caster, mentioning Jon Langford.  After the show I
asked Jon about Plaster Caster.  "Cynthia?" he smiled greatly.  Apparently
he's the Prince of Wales for a reason.

 Cynthia Plaster Caster was famous for making plaster casts of the private
parts of well-known rockers, including Wayne Kramer of the MC5, Richard
Lloyd of Television, and singer Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys. 
But the artist's most famous subject was guitarist Jimi Hendrix,
immortalized in plaster Feb. 25
