Not Hallucinating / RE: (TV) 4th Album

Russ wrote, ".., I was watching that old footage of them rehearsing in Ork's loft, and I
swear I saw them doing an *early, early* version 'Postcard from
Waterloo' with Lloyd singing. Was I hallucinating or was that what I heard?"

No you were not hallucinating.

On the Ork Loft DVD at 60:02 is a song called 'What I Heard'. Several years ago on the 'other'
Television List Keith wrote:

"Although Verlaine's song, 'Without A Word', on Dreamtime, uses some of the basic musical
structure as the song, 'Hard On Love' below, they are not the same song--on the other hand, the
structure and melody of 'What I Heard' would eventually become Verlaine's song 'Postcard From
Waterloo' from his album Words From The Front.".

Note from Leo: There are also two separate concert versions of 'What I Heard'. The first
appear on the Carried Away cd-rs "August 28 Or 29 Or 30 Or 31, 1974, Max's Kansas City, NYC"
and " 'Poor Circulation': Winter And Spring 1974 Rehearsals; And August 28 Or 29 Or 30 Or 31,
1974, Max's Kansas City, NYC; And January 17, 1975, CBGB, NYC; And March 1975, CBGB, NYC".

The second appears on the Carried Away cd-r " 'UFO': January 17, 1975, CBGB, NYC".

"He did what we all do.
He went about his dull routine
as if all the days in the world
were still to come".
