Re: Mazzy & Ms Sectert X / RE: (TV) Not so familiar Verlaine favourites

Ah, so it was SecretX who posted that Tom likes Mazzy Star. Thanks Leo for
that info. After reading a bunch of SecretX's posts, she sounded pretty
credible re. being Tom's ex gf, & in the details of supposed facts she wrote
about him. I don't doubt her story. Other than Tom himself, who else would
know better what bands he likes than a gf?

Ms SecretX in an
e-mail once said Tom liked Mazzy Star; I have never seen an
interview in which
Tom himself said he liked Mazzy Star.

Bob, I dare say it's the same interview re
being asked about Sailor's Life
and his other comments re Thompson's Fender --
if only I could
remember WHICH interview it was!!

Funny that you should
mention Mazzy Star -- I just got into her lately,
after hearing "Into Dust" on
an episode of Californication. Some really
good melancholy stuff. I don't
recall Tom ever saying he was into Mazzy,
though. Of course, he may well have,
but it's news to me. :)

I'd not heard the excellent "A Sailor's Life" before. Thanks to Glen
