yes ,it was almost  the only exception ,the brazil show from 2005 ,and a few
more from recent years Television tours ,where Verlaine played rented strats
...
the shorts clips from the jazzmaster 50th ann. are terrific ,i wish they
upload more of it...
and yes ,Tom sells his jazzmaster right away ...

I'm going to get a teeeny bit pedantic: that's probably
true for a full-set performance, but Tom and Jimmy did do a short set at a
Fender Jazzmaster 50th anniversary thing.  (Didn't Tom whip that one right out
on ebay afterwards?)
