Re: Remembering Tom Verlaine

Me and my wife celebrated the anniversary of our marriage yesterday. We asked ourselves what had been OUR music through the 36 years since we met. Not an easy task, me into glam and punk and she, a few years younger, more into goth rock. But then she mentioned Tom Verlaine and we agreed that that choise was perfect and listened to him all evening. And even danced to Five Miles of You. When we went to bed we read the terrible news. Spooky.

I just wanted to take a moment an say that I'm very glad I got
to know so many great people through Television's music. While this list
has been supplanted for the most part on other social media platforms,
it was what sparked some excellent friendships and memories.

The high point was certainly getting to meet so many at Dennis's
restaurant before going to see TV at Irving Plaza.

Tom Miller's tale may be over, but the music will always remain.
