Girlfriend is an amazing guitar-pop record. That's the only Matthew Sweet I
know other than Altered Beast. The songs on Girlfriend are maybe a bit more
radio friendly than on Altered Beast. You won't be sorry. I also have a tape
of an album called "Goodfriends" which I believe was a promo CD of live
tracks and B-sides from the time of both Girlfriend and Altered Beast. That
is a great album as well, and I would say if you find it, grab it. Can
anyone tell me how "100% Fun" compares with this stuff?
