The studio version of "Maybe I'm Amazed" was released only as a single.
There are numerous Faces 45's that never made it to compilations or bonus
tracks. The 45 of Real Good Time is also different than the LP version. You
can actually hear the boys singing, quite drunk in fact "Auld Lang Syne".
Ron Wood's guitar is right in yer face. In most cases the Faces 45's were
either different versions or alternate mixes to the LP versions. Flying is
another case in point as is "Three Button Hand Me Down". Writing all of this
makes me realize just how much I adored the Faces. The 45 of Maybe I'm
Amazed is not that common, but certainly worth every cent that is costs you.
The heavy 12 string guitar is played superbly by Ron Wood. And the B-side is
non-LP, I believe the track is "Oh Lord I'm Browned Off". Can any of our UK
friends tell us just what is meant by this phrase? M T C
