Re: (TV) What would I obsess over?



Wow, now there's a gig I would love to have seen. Just the fragments of
badly recorded Modern Lovers live on 'Live at the Longbranch Saloon'
make you realise just what a unique live experience they must have been.
I love all those photos where everyone has waist-length hair except for
the anti-hippy Jonathan Richman... And the Modern Lovers album is
fantastic -- I much prefer it to any VU stuff, although it's clearly
very influenced by the VU.
If you can judge the importance of an album to you by the amount it
changes your own approach to making music, then that album is definitely
the most important album in my life!
