Re: (TV) Howdy / Kinks

Heard all about the Replacements, however I saw the Pogues early on when
they only had the first album out. It was ashow my friend put on. The
Pogues' rider for the night was 6 trays of Guinness, in other words 144 pint
cans. The band didn't touch it.Theyspent the whole night at the bar, apart
from when they were on stage, and they drank and drank. Went on stage worse
for wear. Played a great show. The cans of Guinness were then started on, in
the van, on the journey home! Often wondered how many they got through.
Most pissed person I've ever seen on stage though was Steve Diggle of
Buzzcocks fame who came on stage for an encore with the great Naked
Raygun..............very embarrassing. There are good drunks and bad drunks!
