(TV) Pavement debated

Pavement were def very heavily endebted to the Fall at the beginning but
they soon moved on as all good bands do- i like Mark E Smith but he's a
cantankerous pissed up ole sod and he could have been a hell of a lot more
gracious in acknowledging Pavement's music and their love/respect for the
Fall-i'm sure Pavement even helped put a new generation of curious punters
his way

Lampchop i still don't get at all - nope, nothing-
and Wilco were very,VERY dull indeed on the JH prog (though i did like
one of the songs they did for that recent Woody Guthrie thingummy)

btw can i recommend the Bees' version of A Minha Menina ?- it's the first
decent 45 of the summer - pure aural sunshine!
