This brings up an interesting point - if people want *anything* in *any*
medium, it'll show up there somehow.  I worked at a comic book and video
store in Central NJ for awhile and a large part of our video inventory
was (ahem) "unofficial" releases.  That was the only way you could get
your hands on old movie serials, Gerry Anderson shows, TV series, the
works of Roger Corman or "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls."  Of course,
once something got a legitimate release we'd stock and rent that rather
than our bootlegged copies (even though many were letterboxed).  A few
years ago, there was even a bootlegged release of "Alchemy."  It wasn't
the greatest, but didn't sound any worse than my played-to-death vinyl
copy, and certainly didn't stop me from buying the legit Collector's
Choice reissue.  And let's not forget Prohibition...
