(TV) (OT) reporter query/double albums

Hey all --

I'm writing up a small nostalgia piece for my paper on double-albums of the
vinyl era, their uses and misuses. Besides the obvious pharmacological
purposes, did anyone here find the gatefold helpful for anything else? I've
heard about college girls covering them in tinfoil and using them as tanning
reflectors. Any and all nuggets appreciated.
