Having played dozens of Strats over the years, for the first time in ages I was actually surprised by the sound of one in a shop not too long ago.? They are making these models called "60s reverse stratocasters" or something similar.? Basically it's Mexican Strat strung with a lefty neck and with the bridge pickup angled the other way, the point being that it's the Jimi Hendrix setup.? Eye opening.? The (smashing) "pumpkin chord" never sounded so good.? I think I need one.
