Leo, in some ways yes. Thats why I added the well rounded musician part. I've seen Robbie in so many different kinds of bands and he has excelled in all of them. Like I said he started off at 13 playing bass in wedding bands and has been playing steadily since. He also went to NYU and majored in music so he can read and all that stuff too. He's always in many bands at the same time and one of the more interesting ones is called Papercat which he plays with the Slicks, a brother and sister drums and bass team who are Adrian Belew's band in his power trio. The Slicks started playing with Adrian when they were both in their teens. Oh and Papercat gigs and recordings are totally improvised.
