I knew Kane was listed as Mormon, but I assumed he was born that way only to
discover later that wooden submarines float.  
Surprised to hear he was a later convert.

I guess after the Dolls' fashion statement, magic underwear seems almost
sensible.

Re good rock docs, one of my favorites is "New York Doll," about Arthur Kane
and his latter-day years with the Mormons. Highly recommended.
