RE: (TV) a question (seeking heated debate)

Alas Greg, I feel that your comments are true in my case. Of course, I'm
still actively seeking out music that is new to me, but most of it was
made a long time ago.
It doesn't help that I never buy music magazines and rarely watch music
programmes on TV (music shows on British TV are diabolical). The only
radio stations I listen to are BBC radio 3 (classical, jazz & esoteric)
and BBC radio 4 (spoken word).
Must make a note to hang out with some young people. Andy has the ideal
solution - working in a record store.
-Howard
Ps, I went onto Kazaa, but instead of downloading stuff by the Strokes,
I downloaded some Furry Lewis tracks instead. Maybe I'll try the Strokes
tonight.

And Howard and Keith (grumpy old men), perhaps the
geriatricifaction of many of us on this list makes us
less open to all new music, music is born from music
and we may be taking a "heard that done that before"
approach?
