Deb,

I would agree with your previous e-mail's general sentiments.  

In several interviews, Verlaine even goes so far as to describe Television's music as pop 
(and despite Tom's penchant for putting people--and especially interviewers--on, he was
serious).  
I'll see if I can find one of these "pop declarations" and post it.
